I was at the Obama Rally in Grant park the night he was elected. It was the best experience of my life thus far. Life changing. A million people gathered together in the park. And when I say a million I mean a million. They shut down all of the downtown area. There were no cars at all. Everyone was in the park. When it was over the streets filled with people. Singing, dancing, crying, shouting. It was amazing. Really. One of the best nights of my life.
